Artist Talk at Resurrection Philadelphia
This Spring, I made my first site-specific installation at Resurrection Philadelphia’s historic church building in downtown Philly. It was a strange, thought provoking, and rewarding experience to respond to a site that already holds so much meaning. I was nervous about working with such an aesthetically saturated space and I wanted to strike a balance between engagement and intervention with the history, form and color. I’m delighted with how the installation turned out and so grateful for such a warm reception of the work. I gave a research based artist talk in the space and am happy to share it is available to view!
This project was grant funded and supported by ReEcho Collaborative.
